Synopsis: Drishyam 3 is a 2026 Indian Malayalam-language crime drama written and directed by Jeethu Joseph. The story continues five years after the events of Drishyam 2, following Georgekutty, whose life appears stable after turning his past into a successful film and trying to move forward with his family.

Story: However, journalists Yami and Rony begin investigating the real-life inspiration behind the film, focusing on the unresolved mystery of Varun’s death. Despite growing public suspicion, Georgekutty denies any connection to past events.

Meanwhile, Georgekutty shows compassion to Jose and Mary, helping them rebuild their lives after past hardships. At home, he and Rani try to find a suitable marriage proposal for their daughter Anju, but every alliance is disrupted by unknown interference.

Investigations reveal that Rajan and his wife Shanthi are behind the disturbances, driven by resentment over past consequences linked to Georgekutty. Rajan, once suspended for assisting him, has suffered severe personal losses and blames Georgekutty for his downfall.

At the same time, former police officer Sahadevan begins secretly investigating Georgekutty, becoming unstable and desperate to uncover evidence related to Varun’s death. His actions escalate as he intimidates individuals and collects sensitive information, leading to police scrutiny and his eventual arrest order.

Inspector General Thomas Bastin and Prabhakar also join forces against Georgekutty. Prabhakar, disturbed by Geetha’s mental state abroad, plots to reopen the case and targets Georgekutty’s family, particularly Anju.

A conspiracy is formed to trap Anju by staging a fake incident involving a marriage proposal and fabricated psychiatric records. The plan aims to link her to Varun’s death and implicate Georgekutty once again.

However, the plan collapses when events go out of control during the staged encounter. Anju regains consciousness, forcing the conspirators to flee, and evidence begins to surface against them.

Georgekutty intervenes strategically, rescues the situation, and gathers evidence that exposes parts of the conspiracy. He later forces a confession from Sahadevan implicating Prabhakar and Bastin.

In the aftermath, Georgekutty offers to surrender under legal supervision while ensuring his family’s protection. However, tensions remain high as Prabhakar refuses to accept the confession and continues to threaten further action.

The story ends with emotional turmoil as Geetha remains psychologically disturbed and unconvinced about closure, while Georgekutty’s surrender is publicly revealed, leaving the conflict unresolved and tensions still looming.
