Plot: Manisha, a 27-year-old unmarried woman, struggles to find a life partner due to various personal reasons. She takes up a job as a faculty member at Sri Pratibha Junior College. There, she learns about Vishnu, a junior lecturer in his 30s who is single and deeply devoted to astrology.

The other faculty members consider Vishnu incompetent and plan to have him removed from his position. However, Manisha steps in and persuades them to give him a chance, promising that she can help him improve as a lecturer. They eventually agree to her proposal.

Manisha later reveals the situation to Vishnu, admitting that she helped him keep his job. She also opens up about her own habits, including smoking, and the two begin to bond over a shared cigarette. That same night, she asks him to buy her vodka and drinks heavily.

Under the influence, she asks him to kiss her, but Vishnu refuses and takes her home safely. Outside her house, she again insists that he kiss her. This time, Vishnu reacts strongly, slapping her and making it clear that he is not that kind of person.

Manisha then confesses that her request came from genuine feelings, not casual intent, revealing that she truly likes him. Her honesty deeply affects Vishnu.
